We welcome you to membership in our church. Together we serve Christ, worshiping as one body, though we are a community of people from diverse backgrounds and denominations. Please join us at one of our services. Stop by the welcome desk to fill out a name badge and talk to our greeters. You may also call the church office at 921-3665 to be put in touch with someone who can address your specific questions and concerns.
THE LAYING ON OF HANDS service continues following the 9 and 11 a.m. services.
PRAYER GROUP initiated by Gloria is for parishioners to offer prayers for themselves or friends and relatives. The names and request for prayer are confidential and are offered up in silent prayer. Blue prayer cards are available in each pew.
LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY, started at St. Mary's approximately ten years ago, trains parishioners to administer communion to St. Mary's homebound. This ministry will be open to new parishioners for training in the near future.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY was initiated at St. Mary's in the late 1980's. Everett Powell is coordinator of this ministry at the Golden Gate Nursing Home the fourth Sunday of each month at 1 PM. Parishioners are invited to participate; children and their pets are welcome too! The service takes about one-half hour and includes communion and singing.
ALTAR GUILD keeps the church beautiful for all the services. The standard commitment is once a month for 90 minutes on a Saturday morning and then again on Sunday morning for about 30 minutes. If you are interested, please contact the clergy or Deborah Franklin.
