8:00 a.m. Eucharist
A quiet start to the day, this spoken Eucharist is celebrated using Rite 1 of the Book of Common Prayer
9:00 a.m. Eucharist
This service offers sound testimony to the vibrancy of life at St. Mary's, especially as it involves children and family programs. This service features Rite II Eucharist, music with the fine children's and youth choirs, a popular interactive children's homily delivered by lay homilists to a throng of children of all ages who gather in the center of the church, the ministries of our youth acolytes. After communion, children proceed to Sunday School during the adult sermon. Then, a lively throng of fellowship unfolds in the courtyard. Nursery care is available.
11:00 a.m. with the Adult Choir
ine music featuring our accomplished adult choir is a main attraction of this relatively traditional Rite II Eucharist. As in the earlier services, parishioners act as lectors and prayer leaders. Nursery care is available.
5:30 p.m. St. Mary's UnPlugged
Offered on Sunday evenings, St. Mary's UnPlugged is an informal service offering innovative liturgy and music, the Holy Meal and a program for children. This service appeals to a growing number of interfaith families. It also attracts people who cannot attend Sunday morning services or who are on the margin of Christian life. Innovative music is integral. Activities for young people include Creation Time (for K through 8th grade) which meets for about 30 minutes during the service. Young people then rejoin their families in time to participate in the Holy Meal. Confirmation Class meets before the service, from 4:30 to 5:20 p.m. during the spring. Nursery care is available.
