2023 Dates for The Sacrament of Holy Baptism

A principal sacrament of the Episcopal Church, “Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church.” Although membership at St. Mary’s is not required, the gathered assembly at a service who witness the baptismal vows agree “to support these persons in their life in Christ.” Baptism is, therefore, a community event. Holy Baptism is appropriate at any age.

These are the dates for 2023 Baptisms:

• Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, The Last Sunday after the Epiphany
• Saturday, April 8, 2023, The Great Vigil of Easter (evening service for those 13 years or older)
• Sunday, April 16, 2023, The Second Sunday of Easter
• Sunday, May 28, 2023, The Day of Pentecost
• Sunday, August 13, 2023, Commemoration of The Feast of St. Mary the Virgin
• Sunday, September 24, 2023
• Sunday, November 5, 2023, The Feast of All Saints’
