In-Person Worship Opportunities

Effective Dec. 14, 2020, we are pausing in-person outdoor services in response to changing public health indications and guidance from Bishop Marc Andrus. The only exceptions are small outdoor funerals.
The plan for regathering in person, approved by our Vestry this summer, indicated that if infection rates increased in San Francisco that all our gatherings would be virtual. And infection rates are steadily increasing in San Francisco, putting us back into our own “red phase” and excluding in-person gatherings.
We realize that pausing our small in-person gatherings is a disappointment. But our community has been creative and resourceful in finding new ways to gather together during these challenging times, and St. Mary’s perseveres in serving the needs of our neighbors and friends.
We will continue to meet virtually for worship, community building and various ministry meetings. Please join us for our regular virtual worship services on Sunday and special services on feast days.
Together, we continue to gather as the faithful community of St. Mary the Virgin, to await the Christ Child and to share Christ’s love with a hurting world.
St. Mary’s Outer Courtyard Open for Private Devotion
The outer courtyard of St. Mary’s will be open for private devotion from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone is welcome to spend time there in prayerful reflection. We ask that all people wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between other individuals. No reservation is necessary.
