A committed group of St. Mary's parishioners has come together to live our Christian call to justice. Justice goes beyond charity to address the systems that cause and support injustice. It invites us to recognize the incarnate Christ in everyone and to actively live our Baptismal covenant by striving for justice and peace among all people and by respecting the dignity of every human being.

Episcopal Impact Fund
On September 2nd, Episcopal Impact Fund (EIF) announced Poverty Relief Congregational Grants totaling $60,000 to 28 congregations and ministries meeting urgent needs throughout the Bay Area.; Among the grants $5,000 was awarded the Church of St. Mary the Virgin Nueva Esperanza Accompaniment Team (NEAT), an equal partnership with Congregation Sherith Israel. These funds will be used in meeting housing, food, education, legal, medical, and other needs in achieving new lives of independence and dignity within the Bay Area.
