On Sunday November 8th, St. Mary’s will join Scouts BSA in an initiative called "Scouts Read Sacred Texts Worldwide," encouraging young people of all faiths (scouts OR non-scouts!) to explore the sacred writings of their own traditions. St. Mary's will join more than 15,000 youth worldwide as the scouts in our community read lessons and lead prayers in worship, while our Sunday School children explore Scripture together—deepening their faith, asking questions, and discovering how God’s word speaks to their lives. We also invite all those who are past and present Scouts of any kind to join us in uniform as we celebrate the Scouts in our community!
