Linda Connelly

I grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and attended Goucher College in Maryland.  I was fortunate to find my passion right after graduation, working in the criminal justice field for over 5 decades.  My then husband was transferred to San Francisco in 1977, and I have lived here ever since.   My work has primarily been providing residential treatment and alternatives to incarceration.  I decided to sell my business so I could focus on big picture criminal justice reform and prevention as a volunteer consultant.  I work with states, counties, and non-profits promoting public safety by focusing on youth and reentry for all.

I enjoy hiking and being outdoors in any capacity, exploring our beautiful City, traveling, watching baseball and football, and being with friends and family.

I have been a lifelong Episcopalian and began attending St. Mary’s in the 1980’s as a Poinsettia and Lily (as Reverand David called me).  After Covid, I began attending St. Mary’s full time and have truly found my spiritual home.  I volunteer on several committees and am thrilled to be part of the Vestry.
