Nancy Svendsen

Nancy was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. After graduating in theater from Queen’s University, she pursued acting in New York and at the same time obtained a MA in Elementary Education. Nancy has enjoyed many occupations; actress, television game show writer, events company owner, teacher to name a few. Her favorite has been raising her two daughters who now pursue their dreams in San Francisco and North Carolina. Nancy is a regular substitute teacher and admissions assistant at Hamlin and Burke’s schools. She was received into the Episcopal Church in 2019 and completed her Stephen’s Ministry training this past February. As the parish Events Coordinator, she finds that working with families and the clergy in coordinating weddings and funerals very fulfilling. Teaching Sunday school is also a joy!
