Singing in a choir builds confidence, reduces stress, and creates a strong sense of community. These are things that so many families in San Francisco are looking for, and they are at the heart of what we do here.

St. Mary's chorister program goes beyond music. Through the Royal School of Church Music curriculum, choristers develop vocal technique and music theory alongside leadership, teamwork, focus, and self-awareness. Most of all, they build friendships that last.

What We Teach
  • Vocal technique in the context of group singing
  • How to break down social barriers and build community
  • Manners, conduct, and self-awareness within a group
  • Discipline, focus, and critical thinking
  • Singing for the pure joy of music
